Mark Helms and our church choir will present a program of music titled A Calvary Homecoming on Sunday, April 27th. They will sing a good old Wally Fowler song called "Jesus Is Mine," a Gloria Gaither song called "Forgiven Again," a sweet song by Carol Cymbala titled "I'M Amazed" and many others. The familiar Southern Gospel sounds will provide an exciting and inspiring worship experience.
It will be hard to sit still as the choir's four-part harmony resonates with the words "It's shoutin' time in heaven; a sinner once lost is found; It's shoutin' time in heaven, salvation has been brought down." Later in the program the choir and soloist Ricky Lewis will tune our hearts with "I'm amazed that Jesus loves me, I'm amazed how He cares."
"A Calvary Homecoming" will be presented in both the 8:30 AM and the 11:00 AM worship service. It will be a service to remember with music that will linger on our lips the whole day.
